When you create a SubsTRAQ account, we collect your name, email address, and (if using Google sign-in) your profile picture. If you set a password, it is stored only as a one-way bcrypt hash.
For each subscription you add, we store the data you enter: name, provider, amount, currency, billing cycle, renewal date, notes, and category. We do not scan your inbox, calendar, or payment providers.
Your data is used solely to power the SubsTRAQ features you interact with — dashboard totals, renewal reminders, exports, and calendar files. We do not sell data. We do not run ads.
Currency conversion queries are sent to frankfurter.dev (European Central Bank rates) without any user identifiers.
If you enable email reminders, we send renewal notifications to your email address using our transactional email provider (Resend). We do not include your data in the reminder body beyond the subscription name and due date.
Your data is retained until you delete your account. Deleting your account permanently removes your user record, subscriptions, and sessions from our database within 24 hours.
